As a charter member of the International Wing Chun Martial Art Association, Master Chan's Wing Chun school provides expert instruction in all seven levels of the International Wing Chun ranking system. I have been interested in the martial arts for many years, I trained at a formal class in Lau Gar Kuen in the early 1970's and later became interested in Wing Chun, so I studied from books and video tapes. Quite some time later a Wing Chun class started in my area, the instructor was Sifu Steve Cheung (a certified instructor under Master Ip Chun), I studied with him until he left to live in Hong Kong. There then were no classes that fitted in with my work commitments, so I trained with friends for quite a while. Luckily for me, my wife, knowing my deep interest in Wing Chun, found Sifu Chans school web site. I became a IWCMAA member and began the course with Sifu Chan in 2009. I retired in 2015 and committed myself to the study and practice of Wing Chun everyday to keep in good health. I will always be grateful to Sifu for his ongoing support and guidance.
